Fufkin (music ezine):
"From the opening title track through the closing Sound Of Summer, this disc truly deserves the very highly recommended accolades! The organ on Every Other Sunday reminds me of the organ riff in the great early 90s tune This Is How It Feels by the Inspiral Carpets. Badgers songs share the same appealing sound with artists like the Kwyet Kings, This Perfect Day, the Connells and Teenage Fanclub. In addition, It Wont Last Forever could pass for a Feelies tune. Theres a lot of crunch’n’jangle, plenty of chiming guitars and the chord progression from the Byrds I’ll Feel A Whole Lot Better is reprised on several tunes - Every Other Sunday and Tonight I Feel Like Ringo Starr. The first line of the closing songis The sound of summer is the sound of a 12-string guitar. It’s hard to argue with this sentiment!"

Not Lame Records:
"Great Norwegian pop band who have played the last few IPO festivals in LA and captured so many folks` attention - and who have waited a long time for this magnificent debut. A power pop orchestra playing catchy tunes based on jangly guitars and vocal harmonies since late 1997 and have developed a very characteristic sound, a sound perhaps inspired by the extreme climate and the Midnight Sun of the Arctic summer. Comparisons with bands such as Teenage Fanclub, The Posies, Velvet Crush and Fountains of Wayne are pretty much dead on, as would be much of the more high-brow Swedish pop of the late 90`s. A beguiling and tasty (and tasteful) treat beginning to end."
